my film journey
Stop motion animation kick-started Sara's love for film, which she created around 10 years ago using Barbie dolls. As time passed, her animations became more detailed and articulate, even winning awards and making money. Her most notable stop motion animation came out in December of 2023 with "Elf Off the Shelf" and has won a couple of awards.
Sara joined the film program at a local community college after learning basic filmmaking skills in high school. In college, she got to learn and experience working on real sets. This led her to working with local indie film groups in different roles like assistant director, 1st AC, and sound mixer. A couple of college highlights include producing & light designing season 3 of the show "Rhythm Lounge" (which will premiere on her local PBS/NPR station), and representing her school by leading teams for the 2025 and 2026 College 48 Hour Film Projects. She's currently an intern at the aforementioned PBS/NPR station, and will be graduating in the spring of 2026.

my acting journey
Sara started dancing at three years old and continued doing so until sixteen, but still occasionally takes a dance class. She's the most experienced in jazz dance, but has learned ballet, musical theater, and Polynesian dance. Most of her on stage acting experience came from high school, where she was the Thespian President of Troupe 960 during her senior year. Her more notable roles include Mrs. Peacock in "Clue" and Snoopy in "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown", but has won awards for her role as Snoopy and her ensemble work in "Newsies".
Once she entered college, she transitioned from stage acting to screen acting. She acted in small college projects and used those as a way to learn how to act in front of the camera. Sara got her first big role in 2023 as part of that year's Inland Empire 48 Hour Film Project. Since then, her more notable roles include Young Zelda in Phase 3's "BloodStreet", and Detective Morgan in "Missing". Sara has acted in multiple 48 Hour Projects and other local indie projects, and hopes to act more often in the upcoming years.
